Gardenlife by Orangery

This is a room built around the ordinary days of gardeners. Preparing the project, we spent our conversations asking what those days actually look like, and what a space would need in order to hold them. Garden life asked for somewhere small pieces of nature could take root, and where time could be kept company rather than counted.

It opened in the early spring of 2021. Enough time has passed that the room is now full of the traces its gardeners have left in it. Looking at these beautiful marks of a life being lived, we find ourselves thinking again about what actually gives a space its worth.
