Ninth floor, Shinsegae Gangnam. Table & Dishware, reopened.

We worked under one idea — an atelier of boundaries — and asked how brands and materials of very different kinds could sit together without arguing.

Most of the work was in the intervals. We kept spaces where a room can catch its breath, and thought about how to put warmth into them. In places we pushed elements apart, opening enough visual room for someone to find a quiet idea. In others we drew them together under warm light until they read as one interior scene.

Stone, wood and metal, left with their own texture, and colours neutral enough to rest the eye, hold the whole floor. They are a flexible ground: whatever the taste, the object stays the principal.

In the pleasant emptiness these boundaries make, we hope you find something of your own for the table.
